Responsibilities

Role Summary:

The Edinburg Center is seeking creative Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analysts to join our Children’s Services team. We offer full-time, part-time and fee for service (FFS) opportunities. BCBA’s will be responsible for providing in-home Behavioral Services and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Autism Services for youth and their families in Metro Boston, Central and Northeast areas of Massachusetts. Travel will be localized to assigned area.  FFS hours are typically 3pm to 7pm as an example.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments in family homes
  • Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals
  • Implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans based on data analysis
  • Train parents, caregivers and BA level staff who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Collaborate with youth team members

 

Qualifications

 

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensure in ABA, and MA in Applied Behavior Analysis or human service-related field
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments
  • Experience with the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS or other related assessments preferred
  • Experience in writing goals and objectives, designing and implementing positive behavior support plans and skill building plans
  • Experience in direct instruction, discrete trial training, incidental teaching, task analysis and other ABA methods
  • Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or autism
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, team player
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
