Responsibilities

Role Summary:

The Edinburg Center is seeking a Program Director to provide administrative coverage for a residential program serving adults with Developmental Disabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

The Program Director is responsible for the daily clinical and administrative functions of two residential programs including the monitoring of ISP’s, supervision of staff, and scheduling coverage. The Program Director is responsible for the coordination or delegation of all medical appointments. Ensures clients stability, safety, health promotion and maintenance, as well as acquisition of community living skills. Accompanies clients on appointments and community outings. Works collaboratively with other treatment providers, family, and guardians to maximize each person’s dignity and quality of life. Assists in all aspects of home life such as meal planning and preparation, budgeting and leisure time. Supervises a staff including the House Manager and direct support staff. Five day work week including one weekend day. Local travel required. Rotating after hours on call coverage.

Qualifications

 

BA/BS in human services related field required. Experience working with adults with Developmental Disabilities required. Experience working with adults with behavioral challenges preferred. Management experience preferred. Basic computer skills - MS Word, Outlook preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. First Aid, CPR and MAP certification within three months of hire required. Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation required.
