Role Summary:

The Edinburg Center is seeking a unpaid Human Resources Intern for the HR Department reporting into the HR Director based in Bedford, MA for the FALL SEMESTER 2017.   The Intern will be provided with ongoing direction and supervision. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior or junior interested in a career in Human Resources upon graduation.  Anticipated start date in early September 2017 and completion date in early to mid December 2017.  We also provide job placement assistance after graduation!!!


This internship can be coordinated with your college to ensure college credit, if applicable.  All superversion requirements and documentation will be completed by the HR Director.

  • Updating job descriptions
  • Posting new openings on job boards
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Completing reference checks
  • Sourcing passive candidates
  • Building HR Reports
  • Reviewing and editing Learning Management System database
  • Assisting with utilization of the new Applicant Tracking System
  • Updating HR Manual


Business Major with a concentration in Human Resources preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to build complex reports in Excel
  • Understanding of social media for job posting 
  • Potential for flexible scheduling
