Schedule: Full-time (40 hours)
The Edinburg Center is seeking a Mental Health Counselor III within our Community Based Flexible Support (CBFS) services group.
The Mental Health Counselor III will provide recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation services, service coordination, advocacy, and support to adults with mental health issues living in a CBFS residential treatment program. The Recovery Counselor III supervises Overnight Recovery Counselors as assigned and functions as senior staff when the supervisor is off duty.
-BA or BS and at least one year of experience in the field required; two years in the field preferred. Experience in relevant evidenced-based practices preferred.
-First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required.
-Basic computer skills required.
-Valid driver’s license required.
