Responsibilities

Implementation

Ensures program operations consistent with International Clubhouse standards

  • Oversees daily operations of all aspects of the clubhouse including work ordered day, employment and social components
  • Promotes a staff and member team approach to all decision making
  • Facilitates all staff and member planning and development meetings
  • Develops and oversees member orientation, enrollment and disenrollment protocols
  • Oversees all DMH required member rehabilitative documentation
  • Ensure coordination of care with other internal and external providers
  • Provides weekly supervision to all staff
  • Participates in Saturday social coverage on a rotating basis with all staff
  • Development
  • Leads the clubhouse’s Quality Improvement process
  • Represents Potter Place and The Edinburg Center at MA Clubhouse Coalition meetings and events
  • Participates in all DMH and Mass Rehab audits, employment meetings and other activities and events
  • Participates in grant and proposal writing
  • Develops clubhouse marketing materials in conjunction with Center Director of Development
  • Collaborates with Advisory Board to further develop employment opportunities for members
  • Coordinates Clubhouse International Accreditation Visits and implements resulting recommendations
  • Administrative
  • Anticipates operational issues and implements corrective actions
  • Ensures compliance with all Center policies and procedures
  • Manages clubhouse spending and documentation consistent with budget and Center protocols
  • Ensures timely completion of all internal and external administrative and fiscal reports and requirements
  • Participates in all internal meetings
  • Recruits, hires and trains staff

Qualifications

Education: Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling or related discipline preferred.

Experience: Four years’ experience working with the MH population required. Four years Supervisory experience, knowledge of supported employment, supported education and clubhouse model required. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required.
