Responsibilities

Role Summary:
The Edinburg Center is seeking a Licensed Lead Clinician within our Community Based Flexible Support (CBFS) services group. This person will have dual responsibilities as a CBFS Clinician and assistant to the Team Leader.

 

Responsibilities:
• In coordination with the Team Leader, takes a lead role in providing and overseeing the team’s clinical treatment services
• In coordination with the Team Leader, takes a lead role in conducting comprehensive assessments and designing person centered Individual Action Plans
• Provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff as assigned
• In coordination with the Team Leader, initiates and maintains relationships with collaterals
• Adheres to agency expectations for quality assurance and maintenance of program policies and procedures
• Provides on-call coverage as assigned
• Assumes primary case management responsibilities for assigned clients
• Provides person centered Crisis Prevention and Intervention Services
• Fulfills other duties consistent with position as assigned

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Master’s level clinician in mental health related field and Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, etc.) with one year post master’s mental health experience required. Experience working with persons with major mental illness required. Experience working with persons with major mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders preferred. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical, rehabilitative and recovery oriented services to clients with major mental illness preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. First Aid, CPR and MAP certification required within first three months of hire (agency provides training). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
